What To Expect

As a founding member of an Alpha Xi Delta chapter you can expect all the same benefits and experiences as any other sorority on NC State's campus, but you'll have a few added bonuses like the potential to hold a chapter leadership position right away, laying the groundwork for the future of Alpha Xi Delta at NC State, participating in a special Installation ceremony with our National President and much more. 

LEADERSHIP
When we establish a new chapter, founding members have instant opportunities to be a leader within the chapter. There are several officer positions available that will inspire you to realize your potential. Chapter officers will be able to attend leadership conferences and have one-on-one training and with Alpha Xi Delta volunteers and staff so that they are able to grow their leadership skills and build a strong foundation for Alpha Xi Delta at NC State.

SISTERHOOD
There will be many opportunities for planned social and Sisterhood events! Through shared social experiences, support and encouragement, our Sisterhood will be the foundation of your lifelong friendships.

PHILANTHROPY
The Kindly Hearts Initiative serves as the umbrella to our philanthropic focus on supporting children experiencing foster care or homelessness. 

Alpha Xi Delta chapters and associations have the opportunity to support key impact organizations making a national or regional difference under the umbrella of our focus as well as the option to collaborate with local impact organizations that support children experiencing foster care or homelessness.

PROGRAMMING AND ACADEMICS
Alpha Xi Delta has many programs that help our members to be the best version of themselves. Through academic support, risk management education and personal development programming, just to name a few, members are inspired to realize their potential. Additionally, the Alpha Xi Delta Foundation annually provides hundreds of scholarships to Sisters across the country.
